Tras el viaje infructuoso de la comisión judicial española a Guatemala, el pasado mes de junio, se ordenó en el mes de julio la orden de captura internacional de los exdictadores guatemaltecos Efraín Ríos Montt, Oscar Humberto Mejía Victores y otros cinco generales. Los delitos de genocidio, terrorismo, asesinato, torturas y detenciones ilegales cometidos por los “inculpados” durante sus gobiernos en los años ochenta han quedado impunes hasta ahora.
